Canine Headshots

I am a dog lover...especially when
it comes to our dogs. I love being
able to be affectionate with them
and they make me laugh...ALOT!

"Hi Libby what are you doing?"
"Do you need me to get closer?"
"Is this close enough?"
"Whew, I'm a little tired"
"I mean really tired"
"REALLY, REAALLLLLY tired!"

Hello, my name is Logan

Hello, my name is Logan and I am the newest edition to the Ethridge family.
Some of my favorite things are:
*Breakfast (especially milk).
*Playing with the toys (especially pig...because it squeaks)
*Playing with Remy (my sister)
*Nap time (I get very tired, because I am still a puppy)
*Dinner
*Playing some more (I'm getting really tired right about now)
*Bedtime snack

P.S. Please don't tell but I really like to chew on shoes but I've heard it's frowned upon, so shhhh.

In Remy's World

This is Remy.
She is my brother and sister-in-law's German Shepherd, pet. I'd like to think she is now my pet too.
There are key words that make Remy very excited: "park", "ball", "walk", "cookie", and "ride".
"Without a dog, squirrels won't have any reason to come into your yard to taunt."

"Without a dog, no one will think you are the most amazing cook in the world just
because you can open a can."
"Without a dog, I would have tassels on my throw pillows instead of little stubs of yarn
that look like small worms."

"A dog thinks everything you have to say is absolutely brilliant and fascinating,
especially if you're holding a piece of food while you're talking."

Dog Day

Today my sister sent me a picture (a very cute picture) of her black lab, just looking off into the distance (maybe thinking of chasing squirrels or swimming).
Then as I was driving home from work, I saw black lab,
who was shaking a man's hand.
-A Lab is able to carry an egg in its mouth without breaking it
-A Labrador's paws have webbed toes, to help in swimming

LABRADORS IN HISTORY
Jake was a Law Enforcement dog that became famous after the Twin Towers collapsed on 9/11/01. He burrowed in scorching hot debris in search of people who were trapped. Jake also assisted in rescuing many, people that were undetectable to human senses following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
SADIE
In Afghanistan, Sadie was able to save the lives of dozens of soldiers when she detected a bomb that was nearly detonated.
