Hello World-Lady Antebellum

Traffic cars, cell phone calls, top video screams at me
Through my tender window I see a little girl, rust red minivan
She's got chocolate on her face, got little hands
And she waves at me, yeah, she smiles at me
Well, hello world, how've you been?
Good to see you, my old friend
Sometimes I feel cold as steel
Broken like I'm never gonna heal
I see a light, little hole in the little girl
Well, hello world
Every day I drive by a little white church
It's got these little white crosses like angels in the yard
Maybe I should stop on in and say a prayer
Maybe talk to God like he is there
Oh, I know He's there, yeah, I know He's there
Well, hello world, how've you been?
Good to see you, my old friend
Sometimes I feel as cold as steel
And broken like I'm never gonna heal
I see a light, little grace, little faith unfurl
Well, hello world
Sometimes I forget what living's for
And I hear my life through my front door
And I'll be there, oh, I'm home again
I see my wife, little boy, little girl
Hello world, hello world
Oh, the empty disappears
I remember why I'm here
To surrender and believe
I fall down on my knees
Oh hello world, hello world, hello world

Dedicated to Ashley Smith and little baby.

Diet Coke-Stay Extraordinary

I am sitting at home with my friend watching the 83rd Academy Awards,
and as beautiful as the dresses are, it is a Diet Coke Commercial
that has stolen my attention:)

Manuela's Bindery

My beautiful sister-in-law Manuela recently opened up a shop on Etsy.
She has a collection of beautifully hand-crafted journals, photo albums,
sketch books, recipe books and, one of my personal favorites,
a felt baby book!
I remember her telling me the process it takes to hand-make a book and it
made me appreciate holding a book and looking at its binding and cover more.
You can find her shop at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Manuelasbindery
Enjoy!

Music from The Village

On Sunday evening I re-watched M. Night Shyamalan's movie The Village.
I loved this movie the first time I saw it. There are many different things that
draw me back and this time it was the music.
It is hauntingly beautiful.
The soundtrack features Hillary Hahn as the  violin soloist,
who makes certain scenes truly come alive.

The Ones We Love

It's been a long time since I wrote last and I've missed sharing with you.
I know Valentines Day has come and gone, but
as I am still nibbling on milk chocolate hearts a
week later I cannot help but think of the ones I love.
Who do you love? Is it a husband, wife, sister,
brother, best friend, boyfriend, fiancĂ©?
Take the time today, to say "I love you"
