Snowdrops (Greek gála "milk", ánthos "flower") are the flower for the month of January.
I think they're beautiful.
"The snowdrop and primrose our woodlands adorn, and violets bathe in the wet o' the morn."
"The morning star of flowers."

Chaste Snow-drop, venturous harbinger of Spring,
